November 21th-27th

Welcome to ConfidentInThis!  This week, we are trying something new to give you the opportunity to be more involved with the blog and more active in your pursuit to learn more about Jesus during your quiet time.  Hope you enjoy!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Each day…
  • Read the Focus Verse and Enduring Question.
  • Read the Daily Scripture and think about how it helps to answer the week’s Enduring Question.
  • Think about how you can apply this scripture in your life today or make a connection between this scripture and another verse, song, sermon, etc. that it reminds you of.
  • Visit our Padlet Wall! There, you can easily post…
    • Comments about what you learned during your quiet time today.
    • Upload pictures of you and your friends applying the daily scripture to your life.  (Selfies encouraged! Some of ya’ll are going to love this!)
    • Create links to websites or YouTube videos that have to do with this week’s Enduring Question.
  • Also, read what other people are posting on the wall!
  • Let’s become more active in our quest to learn more about Jesus and also learn from each other!

Focus Verse:
John 13:35
By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Enduring Question:
Are my actions consistent with my testimony?  (In other words, do I walk the walk or just talk the talk?)

Daily Scriptures:

Thursday
1 John 4:7
Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.  Everyone who loves has been born of God and loves God.
Friday
Matthew 5:16
In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
Saturday
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Sunday
1 John 3:18
Dear children, let's not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.
Monday
Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Tuesday
Ephesians 4:1-2
As a prisoner of the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.  Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.
Wednesday
Galatians 5:13
For you were called to freedom, brothers.  Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.
